SAS Extends Its Existing Finance & Risk Partnership With Consulting Firm Zanders

SAS has extended its existing finance and risk partnership with Netherlands based consultancy firm Zanders. Zander is primarily involved in corporate finance, risk management, and treasury management & worked on SAS’s risk transformation projects for insurance companies and banks. Based on successful collaboration, both firms have now decided to extend the partnership and make Zanders a SAS Premium Partner in the financial risk management space. Also, Zanders has been given the freedom to provide SAS solutions to common clients in the financial industry. One of the partners at Zanders, Gerbert van Grootheest, spoke about the new development. He said, “SAS is one of the leading suppliers of risk management software and in recent years we have already realized some successful implementations together with SAS for various clients. By further expanding this cooperation we can offer our customers the best of both worlds.” Van Grootheest is also the chief of the Financial Institutions division at Zanders. One of the executives at SAS called Zanders, one of the leaders in the financial risk management space in Europe. The partnership has been extended at a time when financial institutions all over the world are finding it difficult to grapple with rising complexities in the sector. The partnership hopes to provide an integrated solution to the issue. An executive at SAS, Onno de Vrij, said,  “It’s essential for us to work together with a partner who knows all the ins and outs of the financial sector and who is fully capable of dealing with a client’s problems.
